About the Presenters

When is it a training issue versus a performance problem? Presented by: Joe Dorrian and Jim Svagerko.

Joe Dorrian has worked for OhioHealth in Organizational Development for 3 ½ years. Prior to that Joe worked for Langevin Learning Services, where he taught Training & Adult Education courses to educational professionals from across the U.S.

 

Jim Svagerko has been a Leadership Development Specialist in Organizational Development for over 5 years. He has been teaching for over 10 years, especially in the clinical area. He also is an adjunct professor for Franklin University.  He received his Masters and Bachelors Degrees in Communication focused on Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, from The Ohio State University. Jim’s current focus is the development of Physician Education; the education needed for the new Westerville Medical Complex; as well as many other educational projects.  He has created a curriculum for Physician education that includes the utilization of on-line courses, webinars, combined with face-to-face classes.  Also, he is working with the Westerville management team to create a blog for their associate communications.
